And the Apostles said to the Lord,
“Increase our faith.”
The Lord replied, “If you have faith
the size of a mustard seed,
you would say to this mulberry tree,
‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’
and it would obey you.”
(Luke 17:5-6)
Faith is not measured by size but by sincerity. A mustard seed-sized faith, when rooted in God, is powerful.
True discipleship includes humble service: We serve not for applause but because it is our calling. Obedience is not optional: Following Jesus means doing what He commands—even when it’s hard or unnoticed.
All of what we have become today are graces that were freely given by the Lord. We do not merit all these great things that have happened nor are we entitled to receive them. It is by faith that we are healed, fully restored, and was able to get back to our feet.
We can do all things in Christ and and that no purpose of His can be hindered. He made us dealt with great things that we do not understand; things too wonderful for us, which we cannot know (Job 42:1-3). God owes us nothing yet gives us everything: Our posture should be gratitude, not entitlement.
According to God's word, we shall still stand firm for all things are meant to serve Him (Ps 119:91). Serving God is not only limitted to being active in His church or religious communities but in all things that we say and do. He created all things to and for Himself. To God be the glory!
