But as for the seed that fell on rich soil, they are the ones who, when they have heard the word, embrace it with a generous and good heart, and bear fruit through perseverance.” - Luke 8:15
Perseverance is defined as continued effort to do or achieve something despite difficulties, failure, or opposition. It reflects a steadfastness in pursuing goals even when faced with challenges.
Distractions are spiritual hazards. Worldly distractions can choke spiritual growth. We should guard our heart against spiritual apathy.
Trials reveal the depth of our faith. If we have shallow faith, it can easily collapse under pressure. We should build depth through prayer and study.
Each and every message, revelation, instruction, wisdom or guidance of the Lord comes precisely at the exact and perfect time. I may no longer be actively involve in physically serving in the Lord's church but in His goodness, graciousness, and generosity, He continues to bring me to greater heights in serving Him. It is the Lord alone who gives life and meaning to all things.
He alone possess immortality and can give us eternal life through Christ. Our continued existence in this world and beyond is purely and solely at the palm of His hands.
Life in Christ is not just confined in this world but it goes beyond our earth's existence into another realm, dimension, or destinaltion where life continues. We should not just look on the "here and now" but on the bigger picture of life. The truth is, "life in Christ is eternal and lives on forever!" To God be the glory!
Lord Jesus, You are the way, the truth, and the life. Whoever believes in You shall not perish but shall have eternal life. I believe in You as the very life that is in me, carrying me through all of lifes battles and challenges in the world. Help me Lord to persevere in this life so that I may bear fruit. Protect me and shield me against wordly distractions that can affect my faith. Stegnthen my resolve to always walk in Your ways that leads to the glory of Your kingdom now and forever. Amen.
