He replied, “Rather, blessed are those
who hear the word of God and observe it.”
(Luke 11:28)
Jesus redefines what it meant to be truly blessed—not by association, but by action.
True blessedness is active. Hearing God’s Word is not enough; obedience is the fruit. Spiritual intimacy surpasses physical proximity. We should settle for transformation instead of admiration. Let us ask the Lord to help us to seek the greater blessing: Not in being near the Lord, but in being like Him.
Work out the Word. Seeking approval of an application requires compliance and submission of pertinent requirements. It can only be processed once we have taken action. It is by folowing and observing what is required of us that we may be able to receive what we have asked for.
The hand of the Lord holds all the tools needed in order for us to reap the fruits of His works. Now is the time for us to take advantage in using these tools for His great and abundant harvest is upon us. All of His works done in us shall produce an overflow.
Lord, You have always been and will always be the joy of my heart. Your justice and judgment has brought me to where I am and what I am today. I praise and thank You O Lord my God for all the joys and gladness that You bring each passing day.
As always, I humbly lift up to You this day O Lord. May each and every decision I make be in accordance with Your will that will truly bring glory and praise to Your Name. With much hope and love, I humbly pray in Jesus Name. Amen.
