Stay

“Stay awake!
For you do not know on which day
your Lord will come.”
(Matthew 24-42)

God has delivered me from death to a new life in Christ. In Jesus' life in me, I am here to stay for all eternity. To God be the glory!

As the Lord breathes life into me this day, His revelation is very short, plain, and simple, "Stay". An assurance that I will stay long, healthy, peaceful, and prosperous in the land He has given me as He promised.

Staying and living in this world is not always a "walk in the park" or a "smooth ride" so to speak. I can be up to sail the rough seas, traverse rugged terrains, or pass through dangerous curves. In all these storms of life or challenges, I am always in need of the Lord's protection, guidance, and direction.

In any eventualities, God wants us to always stay awake, alert, and sober so that we may not be caught hands down or flat-footed. In most cases, things happen when we least expect. That is why it is important and imperative for us always be prepared and anticipate these unknown circumstances. As people say, "prevention and is better than cure".

I just praise and thank the Lord for staying with me through and through. Through thick and thin He takes the pilot seat. He has always taken upon Himself to embrace me each time the going gets rough. In my helplessness, He has always been my Savior.

Lord Jesus, in Your goodness and grace, I am here to stay. Stay with me O Lord, my God and Savior so that I may always stay secured. Keep me ever so close to You and never let me go. In the stillness of my mind, heart, body, and soul, I humbly submit and surrender my entire being under the warmth of Your love and care. You are my life and love O Lord, use me for Your greater glory, honor, and praise. With much love and deep gratitude, I pray. Amen.
