Out of frustration, uncertainties, and difficulties of life, we tend to question the will and purpose of God in our lives. It makes us question His intentions, complain about our situations, and even blame Him for our condition.
The essence of truly being faithful is to do exactly what the Lord says most especially in demonstrating his holiness to His people. If He says, "strike the rock", do it once and not twice as ordered. Do things "by the letter", not adding nor subtracting anything from His precise and absolute instructions.
Today, the glory of the Lord shall appear to you bringing abundance in the midst of dryness. He wants you to think as "God does, not as human beings do". He shall bring forth water upon the rock.
What is imperative is for you to know and understand that nothing is impossible for so long as you have faith. Difficulties and sufferings are part of daily living.
Even the Lord experienced this in the hands of men but it did not prevent Him from accomplishing the Father's will. "Jesus showed his disciples that he must suffer greatly from the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes, and be killed and on the third day be raised". By His suffering and death for your sake, you have been raised to a new life in Him!
"Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God! Blessed are you, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my heavenly Father". (Mt 16:16-17)
