Every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven
is like a householder who brings out of his treasure
what is new and what is old.
(Matthew 13:52)
Take with you both the old and the new. In all the stages of your journey, take the commandments of the Lord with you and you shall always be filled with the Lord's glory.
There is treasure in both the old and the new. As a householder of the Lord, He reveals to you these treasures and continues to train you in becoming a good writer of His word and revelations.
God has raised you up to a new life in Christ. Believe in Jesus and you shall live. Jesus raises you up so that you can enjoy life to the full. In this way the love of God was revealed: God sent his only begotten Son into the world so that we might have life through him (1 Jn 4:9). You should not be affected by other people but instead focus your eyes on Jesus.
A Double Portion. We can be tempted to put more trust in the leaders God gives us than in God Himself. God has another leader, for He will see that His will is carried out. Often the successor will come with a double portion of their predecessors’ spirits.
It may even be that He has been preparing you to be that leader.
Set out and go forward. Return to your property with your family. This is a day to erect and build. You are to place pedestals, set up its boards, put in its bars, and set up its columns. Spread the tent over the dwelling and put the covering on top of the tent, as the Lord had commanded. Do exactly as the Lord commanded you when it comes to the erection of His dwelling in the land that He has given you. A glorious dwelling that the Lord Himself has designed where His promise to you has been fulfilled.
God sets you free from the hand of the wicked and rescue you from the grasp of the violent. Violence is just around the corner waiting to devour its prey. Many people are forced to commit violence and criminal acts because of poverty and lack of financial resources to support their families.
